This role is focused on building and evolving high-impact automation systems that power developer productivity, software quality, and large-scale engineering efficiency. You will design scalable frameworks and tooling that streamline the software delivery lifecycle across complex, service-oriented and cloud-native environments. The position plays a critical role in reducing technical friction, improving release reliability, and enabling engineering teams to move faster with confidence. You will work closely with DevOps, platform, and architecture teams to embed automation deeply into CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering workflows. Operating in a highly collaborative and innovation-driven environment, you will help shape the future of developer enablement and engineering excellence. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where your work directly influences system reliability, deployment speed, and overall product quality.

Accountabilities:

You will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks that enhance developer workflows, improve testing efficiency, and reduce operational overhead across large-scale distributed systems. You will drive automation strategy while ensuring alignment with modern DevOps and cloud-native engineering practices.

  • Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks supporting CI/CD, testing, deployment, and developer enablement workflows

  • Integrate automation solutions into SDLC pipelines to improve deployment speed, reliability, and feedback loops

  • Define and implement test automation strategies across functional, integration, and end-to-end testing for microservices and SOA environments

  • Identify and reduce technical debt in automation systems, improving maintainability and performance

  • Drive adoption of developer-first tools, including automation catalogs and shared engineering platforms

  • Track and improve engineering performance metrics such as DORA metrics and overall delivery efficiency

  • Partner with engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to align automation strategies with organizational goals

  • Provide technical leadership across service integration testing, contract testing, and system reliability initiatives

Requirements:

You bring deep experience in automation engineering, developer tooling, and DevOps practices, with a strong ability to design scalable systems that improve engineering velocity and software quality in complex environments.

  • 10+ years of experience in developer enablement, automation engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering roles

  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript with a focus on scalable and maintainable code

  • Hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools and workflows such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes

  • Strong understanding of microservices, SOA architectures, and distributed system testing approaches

  • Proven experience improving engineering efficiency and delivery metrics (including DORA metrics)

  • Experience with service integration testing, contract testing, and end-to-end automation strategies

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across engineering and platform teams

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and modern DevOps practices is highly preferred

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and expertise

  • Remote-friendly work structure within India (with potential office presence based on team needs)

  • Opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact engineering systems

  • Strong focus on innovation, automation, and modern engineering practices

  • Career growth in a global, technology-driven environment

  • Exposure to advanced cloud, CI/CD, and developer platform ecosystems

  • Inclusive and collaborative engineering culture focused on continuous learning.
