ID:\n\nJR92786 Staff Engineer, Scribe Product Owner\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nAs a Scribe Product Owner (SPO) you will serve as a technical and execution interface for partners and customers of the Scribe Design Team across a global structure.\n\nIn this role you will work with partners and customers to define requirements and drive completion of deliverables for given part type schedules. You will work with Process, Integration, Manufacturing, and Design teams to understand their needs and transfer these into new device designs on product.\n\nBe a primary point of contact for Scribe Design Team functional groups as an interface during the design process.\n\nSpecific responsibilities include but not limited to:\n\n * Be a primary interface to partners and customers for communication of the product and provide weekly updates highlighting project status throughout the design phase.\n\n * Drive new design innovation that will improve visibility to issues customers are facing.\n\n * Work with customers to receive and coordinate device design requests for given projects and provide single source documentation that Scribe Design Teams will reference for design builds. \n\n * Accountable for ensuring scribe design work for new DID or revision meets requirements, standards, and schedules for a given product.\n\n * Work with other functional groups in Scribe Design Team to ensure that projects are adequately resourced, and requests are clearly understood and completed per schedule.\n\n * Help to develop and drive improvement of tools, processes and metrics focused on efficiency across the entire project design flow, from project kickoff to final tape out.\n\n * Collaborate with internal teams such as MaskTech teams, Retman and Tapeout Integration, to establish seamless data handoffs from Scribe Design Team to meet project schedules.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n\nSuccessful candidates for this position will have:\n\n * Strong oral and written communication skills.\n\n * Layout and Verification skills in Cadence and Calibre(DRC, LVS, Net extraction\u2026).\n\n\n\n\n * Understand test structure designs and the impact of parasitic components on parametric data.\n\n * Knowledge of general semiconductor mask procurement processes.\n\n * Familiar with device characterization, and relation of test structure layout to measurement results and testing efficiency.\n\n * Understanding of Test Chip, Alpha, Derivative projects and how test structure requirements vary based on maturity of the projects.\n\n * Overview of fab process steps and overall wafer fabrication processes.\n\n * Demonstrated innovative problem-solving skills.\n\n * The ability to be flexible with travel and work hours to work with a global team and demanding schedules\n\n\n\n\nEducation \u0026 Experience requirements: \n\n * BS degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience is required.\n\n * 10+ years in an Engineering position.\n\n * Experience with circuit design, layout design and verification, tapeout operations\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Design Engineer 4\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
