## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Software Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nIn this role, you will be responsible for the system level security execution for Qualcomm\u2019s Smart Audio and Wearable Systems-on-Chip (SoC\u2019s) - spanning across hardware, software and infrastructure. You will interact with product management and customers (e.g., OEMs) as necessary during the early stages of product planning to develop the overall SoC security architectural and functional requirements. During the design and development phases for these SoC\u2019s, you will direct relevant hardware and software teams to ensure that the final product can meet all target security requirements. Qualcomm Bluetooth connectivity is found in many audio and smart watch products today, and security has become critical as these products become more entrenched in user lives.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n\u00b7 Designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging Security related software on Embedded platforms.\n\n\u00b7 Developing software in C, Assembly. Python to run on ARM, RISCV \u0026 Proprietary CPU platforms.\n\n\u00b7 Develop Software modules for proprietary or high-level operating systems (Linux/Windows).\n\n\u00b7 Follow defined methodologies, processes, and procedures for various software development activities.\n\n\u00b7 Triage, Debug and resolve issues and bugs in the software through good problem-solving skills.\n\n\u00b7 Collaborate within and cross functional teams as required to ensure quality work products are delivered.\n\n\u00b7 Demonstrate Self-motivation and strong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision or direction.\n\nMandatory requirements:\n\n\u00b7 Bachelor\u0027s / master\u2019s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.\n\n\u00b7 Minimum 10+ years of experience in Embedded software development and programming in C / C++ / Assembly.\n\n\u00b7 Strong understanding of Embedded hardware, Computer Architecture and Operating System concepts.\n\n\u00b7 Good understanding of OS concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, etc.\n\n\u00b7 Understanding of RTOS fundamentals like multi-threading, interrupt management, cache/memory management etc.\n\n\u00b7 Good expertise and experience on product security for embedded device\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \n \n\u2022 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n\n\u00b7 Excellent Embedded C Programming Skills along with knowledge of Assembly programming (preferably for RISC-V)\n\n\u00b7 Good understanding of Software Security Concepts, Public Key Cryptography, ARM TrustZone, Virtualization etc.\n\n\u00b7 Good communication skills \u0026 ability to work with engineers, partners \u0026 customers across cultures / geographical sites\n\n\u00b7 Good expertise and experience in product security for embedded devices, which may include a subset of the following skillsets:\n\no Symmetric \u0026 Asymmetric Cryptography,\n\no Device integrity \u0026 Authentication,\n\no Vulnerability detection methods,\n\no Exploit mitigation techniques,\n\no Hardware access control,\n\no Secure provisioning and debug,\n\no Key management and applied cryptography\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
