Staff Engineer, SSD Software

Design and Development Develop and enhance low‑level software components interacting with OS drivers, storage protocols, and SSD/UFS devices. Build robust, scalable system‑level modules for Linux, Windows, automotive, and embedded environments. Contribute to driver‑level or firmware‑adjacent feature development as required. Perform deep debugging using C/C++, Python, and system‑level tools (kernel logs, traces, crash dumps, protocol analyzers). Diagnose issues across the full I/O stack: OS → driver → controller → NAND/UFS media. Collaborate with FW, HW, validation, and platform teams for quick triage and root cause analysis. Ensure high‑quality releases aligned with program milestones. Partner closely with platform, firmware, QA, hardware, and product engineering teams. Communicate technical status, risks, and design decisions with stakeholders effectively. Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical excellence initiatives. Strong proficiency in C and C++ for system‑level software development. Hands‑on experience with Python/Pybind for interfacing, tooling. Deep understanding of OS internals, storage stack, kernel‑mode interactions, and driver workflows. Experience on Linux, Windows, and embedded/automotive platforms. Exposure to performance profiling, static analysis, memory tools, and CI/CD environments. Familiarity with frontend UI development/integration. Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering 8+ years of experience in the full stack application development, preferably in Storage area on Windows & Linux OS
