ID:\n\nJR96226 Staff Engineer-SSD Firmware Validation\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nWant to join with inclusive \u0026 innovative team !!\n\nApply us today\n\nExperience:\n\n\u00b7 8-12 Years in Embedded firmware or 6+ years in SSD Firmware Validation would be a strong plus.\n\n\u00b7 Hands-on experience in debugging PCIe Protocol and PCIe Error Injection issues using Lecroy/VIAVI analyzers and exercisers is a must.\n\n\u00b7 Good hands-on experience in debugging NVMe, NVMe-MI(SMBUS/VDM) and TCG-Opal/Pyrite Protocol issues is highly desired.\n\n\u00b7 Experience in developing comprehensive test plans covering I/O workloads, NVMe \u0026 NVMe-MI protocols, and media management using tools such as Medusa, SanBlaze, and OakGate is a strong plus.\n\n\u00b7 Prior experience in validating SSD FW using ULINK Drive Master Test Suites, UNH and PCIe-CV test suites is desired.\n\n\u00b7 Define, develop and implement software, firmware and device validation test plan and test content.\n\n\u00b7 Integrate tests into an automated test environment and collaborate with test execution teams to drive validation plans/strategy.\n\n\u00b7 Review, track and document test results and sightings\n\n\u00b7 Drive issues to closure by interfacing/collaborating with other product development teams\n\nSuccessful Candidates for this position will have:\n\n\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science or Engineering\n\n\u00b7 Good Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system debugging and Coding in Python.\n\n\u00b7 Effective oral and written communication with strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills\n\n\u00b7 Demonstrated ability to work well with others and collaborate effectively in a team environment\n\n\u00b7 Expert planning and tracking skills, able to see big picture, well-organized, focused on results, capable of managing multiple projects, excellent time management with respect to priorities and self-management.\n\n\u00b7 Must have excellent knowledge of system storage and the relationship to the platform ingredients: CPU, Memory, PCIe, drivers, OS, firmware, etc.\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSystems Design Engineer 4\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
