About the Team
The Staff Global Practice SME - NCM role is part of the Cloud & Automation team within Nutanix. This team operates from Bangalore or Pune and is focused on delivering innovative cloud solutions to enhance the customer experience. The culture is collaborative and fosters a continuous learning environment, encouraging team members to share knowledge and leverage diverse expertise. The team's mission is to drive automation and consulting excellence across cloud services, ensuring that both internal consultants and clients benefit from best practices and high-quality service offerings.
You will report to the Director of Professional Services, who is known for a supportive and empowering leadership style that emphasizes mentorship and collaboration. The work setup for this role is hybrid, requiring the hire to be present in the office a few days a week while also allowing flexibility for remote work to accommodate individual needs and enhance productivity.
This role does not have any required travel, allowing the candidate to focus on delivering high-quality service and support from their primary location. However, occasional client engagement or training sessions may arise, depending on project needs.
Your Role
  • Lead the development and management of service offerings in the Cloud & Automation domain.
  • Compile, publish, and maintain Service Delivery Kits for professional services teams.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of services through delivery quality checks and peer reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to design solutions that enhance product adoption.
  • Conduct customer-facing workshops and technical discussions to drive client engagement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enable consultants in service delivery.
  • Monitor consulting metrics (CSAT, SKU utilization) and propose updates or improvements.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives as a Subject Matter Expert in Cloud & Automation.
What You Will Bring
  • Deep technical expertise in automation solutions and the Nutanix Cloud Platform.
  • Strong consulting capabilities with a focus on designing scalable architectures.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps/Agile practices.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and effectively communicate technical concepts.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of IT services experience in cloud, infrastructure automation, and virtualization.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in conducting customer-facing workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Work Arrangement 
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
