How You’ll Spend Your Time:
• A minimum of 2 years of significant US tax experience in a public accounting firm or industry position with substantial exposure on taxation of U.S., Experience in Tax reporting and compliance requirements.
• Preparing tax returns of Individual Tax Return Form 1040, Trust returns Form 1041, Multi -State Returns and international tax Reporting forms like, FINCEN FORM 114, Form 8938, 5471, 5472 etc.
• Business Tax return like C Corporate 1120 and Partnership Tax return 1065 experience is a plus and should have good understanding of financial statements as per GAAP and Tax laws.
• Perform review of tasks and processes of Tax return preparation and delivery. Ability to read and interpret 1040 PBC statements like 1099’s, SCH -E Rental, Passive Loss Limitations, SCH K -1’s, Wash Sales, Sale of Resident (HUD Statement), Multi -State adjustments and related tax matter.
• Strong focus on attention to detail and able to do multi -tasking to accomplish tasks effectively.
• Manage end -to -end tax compliance. Responsible for completing all assigned tasks accurately and within the defined processing time frame.
• Achieving target billing and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently within the budgeted time and cost.
• Manage multiple tax related processes and work with team members effectively and efficiently.
• Develop Team Bonding, Positive attitude, and share knowledge transfer.
• Be accountable of work and Be 100% Responsible of leading and managing engagements.
Requirements
• Qualification: Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate
• Experience: 2+ years in US Individual Taxation.
• The candidate should possess good communication and drafting skills with a work -based demonstrated affinity in pursuing a career in customs matters.
• The candidate should demonstrate integrity and energy and possess independent working ability and have a collaborative mindset
• Active communicator and a great team player
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
• Ability to balance many projects simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to be flexible with scheduling to meet workflow demands
• Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality, personal objectivity, and professional skepticism
