ID:\n\nJR96652 Staff Memory Design Engineer\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Contribute to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of DRAM Memory array/Peripheral Logic/Analog circuits\n * Actively leverage AI\u2011based tools, agentic workflows, and automation frameworks to:\n * Accelerate schematic optimization and design\u2011space exploration\n * Assist in parasitic analysis, sensitivity studies, and corner coverage\n * Improve debug efficiency across simulation and silicon learning loops\n * Define semicustom methodology for memory design\n * Collaborate with CAD, EDA, and software teams to integrate AI\u2011driven flows into simulation, verification, and design sign\u2011off environments.\n * Oversee and manage the layout process including floor-planning, placement, and routing\n * Perform circuit-level verification including functional, timing, power and reliability analysis using industry standard and Micron-specific simulators and tools.\n * Contribute to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success\n * Drive innovation into the future memory generations and design methodology within a dynamic work environment\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n * Master\u2019s degree in electrical or computer engineering with 4-8 years of experience in memory design. \n * Strong fundamentals in CMOS circuit design, device physics and memory operation.\n * Experience with SPICE-based simulation and parasitic extraction.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Domain knowledge in DRAM design (DDR5, LPDDR5 or HBM or in any other memory related field)\n * Domain knowledge in NAND memory design\n * Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML-assisted design flows, agentic AI or advanced automation in circuit design and verification.\n * Experience on SoC / ASIC semicustom flow\n * Strong communication and collaboration skills.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Design Engineer 4\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
