Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.\n\n * Master\u0027s degree in Science, Engineering or related field\n * 8 + years of professional experience designing transistor level circuits for SoC applications\n * Strong background and direct experience in CMOS transistor level circuit design\n * Deep understanding of device physics, electrical/reliability behaviors in both advanced bulk and FinFET technologies, scaling limitations, etc. Familiarity with basic semiconductor manufacturing processes.\n * Familiarity with variation-aware design in nano-meter technology nodes. Understanding of statistical concepts/methodologies.\n * Physical implementation (layout) and layout supervision.\n * Familiarity with ASIC frontend/backend integration flows, IP delivery collaterals including behavior model, upf lib, LEF view, etc.\n * Silicon Tape Out and debug experience, noise-aware design experience are plus\n * Automation (shell/perl or python) semi-custom or custom design experience with typical PnR tools etc. will be a significant plus.\n * Candidate is expected to work with multisite teams and should have excellent communication skills.\n\n\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
