Startup & Entrepreneurship Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking entrepreneurial professionals who have been closely involved in building or scaling startups—from ideation to execution and growth. This role is ideal for founders, early-stage operators, and VC professionals who can bring real-world insights into startup building, fundraising, and scaling strategies in dynamic markets like India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and execute startup building processes including idea validation, MVP development, and achieving product–market fit


• Support early-stage hiring strategies, team structuring, and defining founder/operator roles


• Analyze and advise on pivot decisions based on market feedback and performance metrics


• Lead or contribute to fundraising efforts including pitch deck creation, investor outreach, and negotiations


• Break down and explain term sheets, dilution, valuation, ESOPs, and funding stages


• Evaluate and design scalable business models suited for the Indian market


• Develop competitive strategies including differentiation, network effects, switching costs, and defensibility


• Build and present real-world case studies from startup ecosystems

Preferred Background:

• Experience with leading VC firms or startup ecosystems such as Sequoia Capital India, Accel, Blume Ventures, or Y Combinator


• Hands-on experience in early-stage startups or Founder’s Office roles


• Exposure to venture capital, angel investing, or startup advisory


• Strong understanding of Indian startup ecosystem and market dynamics


• Experience with firms like Z47 or similar emerging players is a plus
