We are seeking a passionate and experienced training professional to lead training, capacity building, and quality assurance initiatives across state programs. The State Anchor – Training & Quality will play a critical role in strengthening program delivery by designing and implementing training strategies, building the capabilities of field teams, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences for stakeholders.
This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, government stakeholders, trainers, and field teams to drive effective implementation, continuous improvement, and long-term program sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Strategy & Implementation
Develop and execute state-level training strategies aligned with program goals and implementation needs.
Coordinate and manage training initiatives involving internal teams, government stakeholders, and field staff.
Conduct training needs assessments and ensure timely planning and delivery of training interventions.
Lead the implementation of in-person and virtual training programs across the state.
Support recruitment and onboarding of facilitators and training staff in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
Build the capacity of internal teams and field staff through structured learning and development initiatives.
Collaborate with trainers across locations to ensure consistency and quality in training delivery.
2. Training Design & Curriculum Development
Design engaging, contextually relevant training modules, workshops, and learning experiences.
Develop facilitator guides, training manuals, assessment tools, reporting templates, and supporting resources.
Adapt training content to local contexts while maintaining alignment with overall program objectives.
Deliver training sessions using effective adult-learning methodologies and participatory approaches.
Design and implement evaluation mechanisms to assess training effectiveness and participant learning outcomes.
Continuously improve training content based on participant feedback, field insights, and program requirements.
3. Quality Assurance & Reporting
Monitor training quality and implementation effectiveness across locations.
Prepare detailed training reports, learning summaries, and recommendations for improvement.
Document best practices, challenges, success stories, and key learnings.
Facilitate seamless communication and knowledge sharing between state and central teams.
Track training outcomes and support data-driven decision-making.
4. Government Engagement & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and education stakeholders.
Coordinate with government departments to secure approvals, align schedules, and facilitate participation in training programs.
Provide regular updates on program progress and training outcomes.
Incorporate stakeholder feedback into training design and implementation.
Advocate for the integration and sustainability of training and career readiness initiatives within education systems.
5. Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a small team of training professionals and support staff.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Support team members in achieving professional growth and performance goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in training, capacity building, learning and development, or related roles.
Experience designing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences.
Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Experience working with government systems, schools, educational institutions, or development sector programs is preferred.
Familiarity with local languages and cultural contexts within the state.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state.
Candidates should preferably be based in the respective state or have strong familiarity with the local ecosystem.
