The program focuses on: Collaborating with state-level Samagra Shiksha and other government agencies to embed gender-responsive pedagogy into active FLN frameworks. Designing, piloting, and scaling an end-to-end gender-responsive classroom model (Demo-G) across multiple blocks and contexts. Translating classroom-level evidence and field insights into scalable policy inputs, teacher capacity-building modules, and strategic system shifts.
The State Gender Coordinator will serve as the core technical and operational anchor for gender-inclusive and gender-responsive programming in the state's FLN initiatives. Based out of Lucknow, this role involves reviewing educational materials for biases, coordinating across units to embed gender responsiveness into active projects, and leading field-level pilots from conceptualization to execution. The position requires strong program implementation skills, a deep understanding of gender-sensitive pedagogy, and the ability to work in close alignment with government bodies, field teams, and central technical units.
