Main Goal

To provide the best operational services to the R & D team in terms of quality, efficiency and competitiveness.

The success of a good trial is greatly influenced by the quality of the operational services provided to the team and therefore the Station Manager’s job is very crucial.

Reporting to R & D operations Manager, Station manager is responsible for the overall development of the station 

Job description

• Taking care of Safety, Health and Environment at the station


• Allocating land to the different crops and planning crop rotation.


• Planning labour requirements.


• Sourcing and inventory of all inputs including phyto-chemicals.


• Establishing irrigation facilities and maintenance of irrigation equipment, machineries and green houses.


• Establish and propose to the Manager CAPEX, OPEX and manage them


• Possession and renewal of documents pertaining to R & B like land lease renewal, general license from Panchayat or Government body, Electricity Board or any other departments.


• Hiring security for the breeding station.


• Documenting surface area utilized for R & D analytics

What we expect of you

• Should have a sound knowledge of Agronomy (crop planning, field preparation, crop rotation, pest management)


• Should have a knowledge of all the statutory requirements for establishing & running the station


• Should be an effective communicator (both verbal & non- verbal communication) in English & the local language.


• Possess a good knowledge of computer basics.


• Should be a team player.
