Statutory Audit Executive

We are hiring a Statutory Audit Executive for a reputed CA firm based in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing statutory audits for medium to large -sized organizations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards, and supporting end -to -end audit processes. The candidate will closely collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high -quality audit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and manage statutory audits, including planning, execution, and reporting
  
• Handle audits for companies with turnover above ₹500 Cr
  
• Review and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards
  
• Identify audit risks and perform risk -based audit procedures
  
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, and other regulations
  
• Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and draft reports
  
• Coordinate with clients to understand financial data and business operations
  
• Suggest improvements in internal controls and provide practical recommendations
  
• Support senior team members and partners in audit assignments
  
• Maintain timelines and ensure high -quality audit delivery
  

Requirements

• Strong understanding of statutory audits and audit procedures
  
• Experience or exposure to large -scale audits (₹500 Cr+ turnover) is required
  
• Working knowledge of:
  
• Taxation and GST
  
• Corporate Laws and FEMA
  
• Risk -based auditing
  
• Good understanding of financial reporting and analysis
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and audit/accounting tools
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Exposure to forensic audits
  
• Experience in due diligence or valuation assignments
  
• Knowledge of litigation support or special audits
