Job Description - Strategic Sales Leader -CBIG

Designation: Strategic Sales Leader

Location: BKC, Mumbai

Our Client's proprietary suite of reports helps position your business and acts as a catalyst in generating interest
among existing and potential business partners.Their reports are a proactive tool for businesses seeking to establish an updated profile, thereby positioning the true
picture to stakeholders globally. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Business Development
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding overall sales targets for self and allocated team members from assigned
territories for MSME segment (companies with top -line below 30 crores)
• Speaking with these potential prospects over the phone, briefing them on products & closing business over call
and / or by setting up meetings (virtual / in -person) for self.
• Leads new customer acquisition within the assigned customer and prospect base
• Implements marketing strategies; by analysing trends, market mapping, competitor analysis to enable effective
decisioning and forecasting of sales numbers
• Acts as a product expert, leveraging internal knowledge to build trust and respect with both internal and external
customers
• Responsible for the overall accounts receivables for assigned region.
Operations
• Always ensure process adherence and updation of daily reporting MIS
• Liaising with the operations team for a smooth delivery of the product and ensuring the service expectations of
the customers are met.
• Maintaining the data / client contact details in appropriate data warehouses hygienically.
• Progress Reviews and Forecasting Reports are filed periodically as required by the Management.
• Regular update of all the activities in the tools provided and track the movement of all such activities
People Management
• Lead from the front, developing strong personal rapport and credibility with the team by bringing in business
• Responsible for Training and hand -holding of team members, accompany them for customer meetings, as
required
• Responsible for achieving targeted business numbers for the team in addition to self -targeted numbers.
• Possess the right attitude to work in cohesion with counterparts and colleagues

Requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• MBA or any post -graduation with relevant experience of 8+ years in business development.
• Should have good knowledge of the local commercial and Industrial Belts.
• Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation skills
suitable for a global corporate environment.
• Should not have apprehensions to travel beyond city limits for the interest of business.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to provide value added insights.
Public
Primary External Interactions:
MD/Directors, Proprietors, Partners, CFO’s and other key personnel in the organization.

• Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
• Adaptability and alignment to business requirements and goals
• An understanding on the Corporate Business Models across industries, Industry Trends, Market Behaviour etc.
