Structural Draughtsman

Structural Draftsman must
have expanded skills in an analytical / scientific method or operational
process and applies them to perform a variety of activities. Maintains
appropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed. Applies
experience and skills to complete assigned work within our area of expertise. Works
within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods. Works
with a moderate degree of supervision.

Key Tasks and
Responsibilities

·         Prepares
and checks structural drawings, 3D models and MTO

·         Ensure
drafting deliverables are issued per client specification, applicable
procedures, fabrication sequence and within agreed schedule and budget

·         Maintain
a filing system for various drawings and documents as directed by the Squad
Leader

·         Manage
own time to meet deadlines set by others

·         Ensure
work follows MDR and project QA and/or QC systems and procedures

·         Maintain
responsibility for progress and productivity of drafting deliverables.
Identifies any corrective action

·         Advise
squad leader for any scope change and reworks.   Maintain
back -up for the same

·         Prepare
and / or Review discipline deliverables such as:  

Requirements

Essential Qualifications
and Education:

·         Diploma
in Civil / Mechanical Design or Drafting

·         Detailed
knowledge of associated industry detailing standards

·         Expertise
in 3D (Tekla) & 2D (Autocad / Microstation) structural drafting, modelling,
and drawing extraction

·         Able
to communicate well in English

·         Minimum
3 years of Structural 2D & 3D drafting with major contractor or consultant
of which 1+ years of experience in predominately offshore oil and gas

Preferred Qualifications and
Education:

·         Appropriate licenses or
training certification

·         Knowledge in S3D, PDS, PDMS
software

·         Excellent communication
skills both written and verbal
