Job Description - Structural Engineer

highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineering professional to join our team in

Bangalore, India to develop our engineering services.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical expertise in steel structural design and engineering tasks for

custom-engineered industrial plants.

This role requires strong technical expertise, some international experience and good execution skills

Worked on international projects and with international customers.

 Experienced in international codes and standards e.g. EUROCODE, ASCE, AISC, DIN, IS, BS is

preferred

Integration with Plant Layout

 Understand the linkages & dependencies of structural drawings with overall plant layouts and

foundation guide drawings. Knowledge of import and export of 3D steel structure models between

design analysis, detailed engineering & plant layout software for efficient & effective data exchange

and project execution

Preferred Education/Experience

 Proficiency in any structural analysis and detailed engineering software: STAAD Pro, R Robot

Structural Analysis, Tekla Structures, BobCAD, AutoCAD Civil & Architecture

 Knowledge in Autodesk BIM, Navisworks Manage clash detection, review and markups, are

preferred.

 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 Work experience in structural design & engineering for Edible oil / Biodiesel / Oleochemicals plants

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil and structural engineering or a related field.

 Minimum 10+ years of experience in structural design engineering, particularly in industrial plant

projects.

 Proven experience with international projects and customers.

 Strong knowledge of international codes and standards.

 Excellent coordination and communication skills

 Ability to estimate project efforts and manage quality control
