We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer with a strong specialization in steel design and steel structures to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of hands-on experience in analyzing, designing, and managing complex steel structure projects across industrial, commercial, or infrastructure domains.

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design of steel frameworks, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural solutions. This role is critical to supporting the company’s vision of delivering engineering excellence in high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Design & Analysis
• Lead the structural design of steel buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
• Perform detailed calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) for load-bearing capacity, dynamic response, and stress distribution in steel structures.
• Apply relevant design codes and standards (e.g., AISC, IS, BS, Eurocodes) to all engineering activities.
• Project Management & Delivery
• Manage structural engineering activities from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery of designs and drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to align design requirements with construction feasibility.
• Review shop drawings, material specifications, and fabrication processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Technical Expertise
• Provide subject matter expertise in steel design, detailing, and connections.
• Supervise the development of structural drawings using CAD/BIM software.
• Recommend innovative solutions for optimizing steel usage, reducing costs, and enhancing structural performance.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, local regulations, and quality assurance processes in all structural designs.
• Conduct structural inspections and provide solutions for design-related challenges during construction.
• Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and review documentation from vendors and subcontractors.
• Collaboration & Mentorship
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, construction supervisors, and clients to address project needs.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design principles, analysis tools, and industry best practices.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for stakeholders regarding steel structure-related queries.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on steel design and steel structures.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes (AISC, IS, BS, Eurocodes) and structural analysis methodologies.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla, SAP2000, or similar tools.
• Experience in connection design, detailing, and fabrication methods for steel structures.
• Proven ability to handle large-scale projects, balancing technical accuracy with project timelines and budgets.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
