Structural Engineer

Role Summary

Structural Engineer responsible for designing and constructing physical structures that can withstand environmental and operational pressures. The role includes preparing cost and material estimates, project coordination, structural analysis, design documentation, and ensuring project delivery within budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements
  
• Define, record, and maintain project brief information
  
• Coordinate with the design team to deliver practical structural solutions
  
• Prepare feasibility studies and structural engineering strategy documents
  
• Advise managers and clients on improvements and project strategies
  
• Prepare detailed structural designs, specifications, schedules, and calculations
  
• Communicate proposed solutions effectively with design and client teams
  
• Promote innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the engineering team
  
• Measure environmental and structural loads and pressures
  
• Select suitable construction materials based on project specifications
  
• Obtain planning and regulatory approvals where required
  
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers
  
• Track project progress and provide timely reports to management
  
• Prepare and allocate project budgets
