Job Description - Structural Engineer

Structural analysis and design of industrial steel structures such as pipe racks, equipment structures, platforms, and residential and commercial building structures.
Proficient in structural modeling and analysis using STAAD.Pro.
Experienced in steel design and RCC foundations design as per American standards.
Preparation and review of structural calculation reports, material take-offs (MTO), and other design deliverables.
Ability to review structural GA (General Arrangement) and fabrication drawings.
Good knowledge of base plate, anchor bolt, and connection design concepts.
Proficient in engineering calculations and developing design spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and Connection design tools.

SKILL / TOOLS KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Structural modeling and analysis using STAAD.Pro

Design of industrial steel structures and steel members

Design of RCC foundations (Shallow & Deep foundations)

Wind, seismic, and snow load calculations as per ASCE 7

Structural design checks and technical reviews

Technical coordination with clients, architects, and vendors

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering – preferred

Staad Pro, Mat 3D

MS Excel – engineering calculations and design summaries

Exposure to model review tools
