This role is designed for experienced commercial and wholesale trade professionals who want to apply their domain expertise in a cutting-edge AI benchmarking initiative. You will contribute to building and validating high-quality datasets and scenarios that reflect real-world Indian wholesale, distribution, and B2B sales environments. The work involves translating complex commercial operations into structured, realistic use cases that AI systems can learn from and respond to effectively. You will operate at the intersection of business operations and artificial intelligence, ensuring models understand sales workflows, order management, and customer relationships in practical contexts. The environment is flexible and project-based, allowing you to work independently while contributing to global AI advancement initiatives. Accountabilities:
- Design realistic wholesale trade and B2B commercial scenarios in Odia or English, grounded in Indian market practices such as order processing, distributor coordination, and sales negotiations.
- Adapt and apply structured evaluation rubrics for assessing commercial problem-solving, customer communication, and sales operations accuracy.
- Review AI-generated and human-created responses to ensure factual correctness, operational realism, and alignment with real-world wholesale workflows.
- Contribute to the creation of gold-standard reference solutions reflecting best practices in Indian distribution, account management, and commercial sales.
- Ensure scenario quality across areas such as inventory coordination, procurement workflows, technical product demonstrations, and client relationship management.
- Support continuous improvement of benchmarking datasets used to enhance AI understanding of complex commercial environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Wholesale Trade, Distribution, Commercial Sales, Account Management, or B2B operations.
- Native-level proficiency in Odia with strong professional English communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Indian wholesale and distribution ecosystems, including sales cycles, procurement workflows, and customer relationship management.
- Experience in roles such as Sales Management, Order Management, Technical or Non-Technical Sales, Distributor Relations, or Commercial Operations.
- Ability to translate real-world business processes into structured, analytical, and scenario-based content.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess accuracy, consistency, and operational realism in written outputs.
- Comfortable working independently in a flexible, remote, project-based environment.
