Learn more about our benefits.\n\nJob Description\n\nThe Chemical Delivery (CD) Supplier Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic relationships with assigned suppliers to ensure cost, quality, and delivery performance aligning with organizational goals. This role involves end-to-end supply chain engagement, supplier qualification, and risk mitigation for CD equipment sourcing.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Develop and execute commodity strategies for Chemical Delivery Commodities like \u2013 Gas Kit, Gas Panels, Weldments, Fittings, Tubing, MFCS, Hose Assy, Manifolds, Flow Controller, Transducers, Liquid delivery, Heater Jackets, AFC, ultra-high purity valves, Pneumatic valves, regulators etc.\n * Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned CD suppliers.\n * Measure \u0026 track Supplier KPI\u0027s covering cost, quality, Delivery and Lead time.\n * Identify alternate sources to mitigate supply risk and ensure continuity.\n * Partner with stakeholders and oversee CD supplier qualification processes, including technical capability/Raw material assessments and compliance with global Standards like \u2013 ASME, ASTM, SEMI BCDS, SEMI S2, ISO etc.\n * Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with suppliers that provide structure for all business relationships between Applied Materials and the supply base.\n * Collaborate with engineering teams to qualify new suppliers and materials meeting cost targets and material specifications.\n * Act as the final escalation point for supplier issues and drive resolution\n * Evaluate cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction.\n * Analyze market trends and supplier benchmarks to maintain competitive pricing.\n * Aligns and implements commodity strategies.\n * Engages new supplier introduction and/or disengagement requirements to/from the Applied Materials supply base.\n * Support resolution to systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-time.\n\n\n\nSkills:\n\n * Strong negotiator and ability to read people quickly and adapt to complex situations\n * Strong communication skills \u2013 written \u0026 verbal\n * Ability to read technical drawings\n * Ability to develop strong relationships in a matrixed organization to influence and drive change, partnership and collaboration\n * Communicate in a clear, concise and timely manner (both verbal and written) to operate and collaborate effectively.\n * Experience working with people remotely and ability to leverage technology and influence appropriately in a remote and global working environment.\n * Experience working on a global scale with a variety of cultures with sound knowledge of logistics \u0026 customs regulation (Import/export)\n * Demonstrated ability and passion to solve problems with data driven, rigorous approach.\n * Resourceful with strong work ethics and excellent execution of projects and objectives.\n\n\n\nExperience:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in any field of Engineering\n * 10+ years of Experience in Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Category management, Project Management and/or relevant industry certification(s) preferred\n * Practical experience of procurement of equipment from CD suppliers.\n * 5+ years of Leading commercial large-scale negotiation with large scale suppliers.\n * Preferred experience working in start-up environment for establishing new supply chain ecosystems targeting domestic India market\n * Proficiency working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills, SAP and Power BI\n * Knowledge of SAP \u0026 Ariba RFQ tools is added advantage\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * An Indian citizen with valid passport \u0026 ability to travel to Asia, Singapore, China \u0026 USA\n * Ability to travel 35% of the work time\n * Flexibility to work from home/office environment\n * As required Flexibility to work in multiple time zones to collaborate with teams across regions\n * Valid driving license\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nAssociate\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n7 - 10 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (India)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 20% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nNone\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
