Supplier Quality

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail -oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure that all supplier -provided materials and components meet required quality standards. The role involves supplier evaluation, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and cross -functional collaboration with engineering and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

? Supplier Evaluation & Selection

• Evaluate potential suppliers through technical assessments and quality system audits
  
• Conduct supplier site visits to ensure capability and compliance with quality standards
  
• Support supplier approval and onboarding processes
  

? Supplier Performance Monitoring

• Track supplier quality KPIs such as defect rates, rejection rates, and delivery compliance
  
• Analyze performance trends and initiate improvement actions
  
• Ensure suppliers meet contractual and quality requirements
  

⚙️ Quality Improvement Initiatives

• Lead root cause analysis for supplier -related issues
  
• Implement corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA / SCARs)
  
• Drive continuous improvement programs with suppliers
  

? Supplier Development

• Provide technical support and training to suppliers
  
• Improve supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems
  
• Support capability enhancement initiatives
  

? New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Collaborate with engineering teams during product development
  
• Ensure supplier components meet design and quality specifications
  
• Validate first -time production readiness
  

? Incoming Inspection Oversight

• Review and approve incoming inspection plans and standards
  
• Ensure proper inspection processes are followed at receiving stage
  

✔ First Time Right & Process Control

• Ensure supplier readiness for new vendor parts and engineering changes
  
• Establish robust process controls for new product development and change management
  

❌ Non -Conformance Management

• Investigate supplier quality failures and non -conforming materials
  
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs)
  
• Ensure closure of issues with effective preventive measures
  

? Compliance Management

• Ensure suppliers comply with applicable quality standards (ISO, customer -specific requirements, etc.)
  
• Maintain documentation and audit readiness
