Supplier Quality Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure the quality and compliance of incoming materials and components used in precision defence manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for supplier quality assurance, inspection activities, material testing coordination, NCR management, supplier audits, and quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming inspection of all fuze components as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  
• Perform dimensional inspection using precision instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, and CMM.
  
• Coordinate NABL -accredited material testing for incoming raw materials including steel, aluminium, rubber, and plastic components.
  
• Raise, document, track, and close Non -Conformance Reports (NCRs) with corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Conduct supplier quality audits at supplier locations in Bangalore and Coimbatore.
  
• Maintain inspection records, material certificates, NABL test reports, and quality documentation.
  
• Support in -process and final inspection activities whenever required.
  
• Manage calibration schedules and maintenance of inspection instruments and gauges.
  
• Prepare monthly supplier quality performance reports and quality metrics.

Experience Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in Quality Inspection or Supplier Quality Engineering.
  
• Experience handling precision machined components and supplier quality processes.
  
• Exposure to material testing and quality audits is preferred.
  

Education

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
  
• Diploma / B.E. in Production Engineering
