The role

The Supply Chain Lead – COGS (FP&A) will drive financial planning, performance management, and strategic insights for Supply Chain costs across Materials, Manufacturing, Logistics, Overheads, and Business Waste.

The role will act as a key business partner to regional and global stakeholders, ensuring transparency in cost drivers, supporting transfer pricing governance, and enabling data-driven decision-making, while leading a team delivering COGS analytics and reporting

What you'll be responsible for

  • Data Preparation: COGS Planning & Performance Management

• Own end-to-end planning, forecasting, and tracking of COGS across cost buckets (Materials, Factory, Logistics, Overheads, Waste)
• Lead variance analysis (Actuals vs Forecast vs Plan) and provide clear insights on cost drivers
• Deliver transparency on supply chain cost performance to senior stakeholders

  • Team Management & Leadership (Added)

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of analysts / finance professionals supporting COGS
• Allocate work, set priorities, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration
• Act as escalation point for stakeholders and ensure effective issue resolution
• Build team capability in S4H, analytics, and supply chain finance

  • Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a strategic finance partner to Cost Bucket Owners across Europe and global teams
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to drive cost efficiency and margin improvement
• Serve as the key interface between Finance, Transfer Pricing teams, and operational stakeholders

  • Transfer Pricing & Governance

• Oversee transfer pricing processes including Business Plan and quarterly TP updates
• Ensure accuracy and governance of intercompany flows and TP corrections
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and strengthen financial controls in collaboration with stakeholders

  • Financial Insights & Reporting

• Lead development of dashboards and reporting (Power BI, Power Query) for COGS and TP performance
• Provide forward-looking insights, scenario planning, and “what-if” analysis to support decision-making
• Standardize and enhance reporting frameworks across regions

  • Transformation & Continuous Improvement

• Lead transition and knowledge transfer activities (e.g., S4H, TSA milestones)
• Drive automation, process improvements, and digital initiatives in supply chain finance
• Lead projects to enhance analytical capabilities and reporting efficiency

We're looking for someone who

  • 8–12+ years of experience in FP&A / Supply Chain Finance / Operations Finance
  • Strong expertise in COGS components (materials, manufacturing, logistics, overheads)
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling
  • Exposure to Transfer Pricing and intercompany processes is preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with S4H and Power BI/Power Query
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a global environment
  • Prior experience in team handling / people management preferred
  • Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing / Global Business Services (GBS) environment, transformation projects or finance transitions.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into operational execution, underpinned by digital technology deployments.
  • Data-driven mindset, leveraging analytics to measure, predict and improve performance.
  • Good management skills; able to effectively deal with resistance and conflicts, establish strong relationships with partners, and trust.
  • Analytical and customer-focused professional with strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and ability to perform under pressure, driven by continuous improvement and digital awareness
