Job Description - Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for electrical and software-related issues.

Troubleshoot PLC communication and software applications.

Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities at customer locations.

Coordinate with development and project teams for issue resolution.

Assist customers through phone, email, and remote support.

Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of deployed solutions.

Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user manuals.

Support MES, SCADA, traceability, and industrial automation applications.

Conduct basic training for customers and operators when required.

Maintain service records and track pending issues until closure.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of PYTHON based software application and industrial automation.

Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and industrial communication protocols.

Understanding of software applications, databases, and Windows environment.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle customer interactions professionally.

Willingness to travel for site support and commissioning activities.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, ECE, Mechatronics, or related field.

Experience with industrial software applications or automation projects is an added advantage.

Exposure to SQL, reporting tools, or application support is preferred.

Additional Requirements

Good communication and documentation skills.

Team player with a proactive attitude.

Ability to work under deadlines and support critical production environments.
