General Information:

Our Application Centre for electrification for 2-Wheeler & Powersports is looking for a system and calibration engineer in Bengaluru, India for electrification projects.

To support growth in system development activities, a position has been opened. You will be part of a team that contributes to the system adaptation/evaluation of electrification solutions for the 2-Wheeler & Powersport product line.

As part of the team, you will be a key player in the understanding the product capabilities, understand system requirements, calibrate the product for the system, validated the solution to meet their expectations.

In your role, you will be responsible customizing platform solution (HW and SW) for specific motor and vehicle requirements, eMotor calibration, vehicle features calibration and validating system maturity to ensure for smooth production launch. Supporting to resolve field issues post launch, and interact with design team, quality and customers.

You will join a dynamic team composed of passionate engineers who work in Agile mode and with challenging objectives in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding customer requirements like vehicle performance, features, eMotor performance, diagnostics, functional safety, market requirements and mapping it against platform solution.


• Performing system integration at vehicle with eDCU, eMotor, vehicle peripherals, battery, functional software and verifying it for all possible operating conditions.


• Creating test plan to validate customized eDCU HW and SW solution and confirming functionality against targets.


• Confirming system application for regulatory requirements and supporting customer on their other important activities.


• Analytical approach to resolve quality topics & to support change management at system level.


• Carrying out reviews of the system requirements with the specialist disciplines


• Collaboration in the creation of a system architecture and FMEA, as well as clarification of internal and external system interfaces

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.


• Familiar with Motor control – FOC concepts.


• Familiarity with tools like MATLAB, Simulink, INCA, CANALYZER are added advantage.


• Familiarity with Electric vehicle features / trends in the market.


• Ability to work with people in multicultural environment (India / Europe)


• Total work experience of 5 to 10 Years.


• Good communication, strong customer orientation


• Autonomy in managing work
