Tableau Dev

We are looking for a skilled Tableau Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau. The ideal candidate must have production support experience, a strong understanding of data visualization best practices, and the ability to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business intelligence solutions while ensuring smooth production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  


• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
  


• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to Tableau dashboards and reports.
  


• Optimize dashboard performance and improve report efficiency.
  


• Perform data validation, testing, and ensure data accuracy across reports.
  


• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
  


• Schedule, publish, and maintain Tableau workbooks and data sources on Tableau Server.
  


• Support production deployments and perform root cause analysis for incidents.
  


• Create and maintain technical documentation for dashboards, reports, and production support activities.
  


• Participate in a 24×7 rotational shift schedule, including night shifts (Night Shift – Work From Home).
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Tableau Developer.
  


• Mandatory: Hands-on production support experience with Tableau.
  


• Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  


• Good understanding of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  


• Experience in creating interactive dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, filters, and Level of Detail (LOD) expressions.
  


• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and dashboard optimization.
  


• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  


• Familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehousing is an advantage.
  


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  


• Willingness to work in 24×7 rotational shifts (3 shifts).
