Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our maritime operations by leading end -to -end recruitment strategies tailored to the unique demands of the maritime industry. This high -impact role is responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top -tier talent across technical, operational, and managerial positions within ship management, marine engineering, logistics, and offshore support services. With a deep understanding of maritime regulations, crewing standards, and international seafarer mobility, the Talent Acquisition Manager ensures that our workforce is not only qualified and certified but also aligned with our organizational culture and strategic growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record in managing large -scale recruitment pipelines, building strong talent pipelines, and leading a high -performing recruitment team. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence, ensuring crew readiness, and supporting the global expansion of our maritime fleet and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization’s maritime operational and expansion goals.
  • Lead end -to -end recruitment for key maritime roles including Chief Engineers, Deck Officers, Marine Surveyors, Port Operations Managers, and Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) crew.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with maritime training institutes, seafarer unions, and international recruitment agencies.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques—including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and maritime job boards—to identify passive and active candidates with relevant certifications (STCW, GMDSS, etc.).
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle: job requisition, candidate screening, assessment, interview coordination, background checks, and onboarding.
  • Manage a team of recruitment specialists and coordinators, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with international maritime labor standards (ILO Maritime Labour Convention), local labor laws, and company policies throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with HR, operations, and fleet management teams to forecast staffing needs and align hiring plans with vessel deployment schedules.
  • Maintain and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and seamless candidate experience.
  • Monitor recruitment KPIs such as time -to -hire, cost -per -hire, offer acceptance rate, and quality -of -hire; present insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; postgraduate qualification in HR or Maritime Management is a plus.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years focused on the maritime, shipping, or offshore energy sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing full -cycle recruitment for technical and operational roles in a global or multi -port environment.
  • In -depth knowledge of maritime certifications (STCW, GMDSS, medical fitness, etc.) and international crewing regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high -performing recruitment teams and managing multiple hiring campaigns simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, etc.), ATS platforms, and data -driven recruitment analytics.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross -functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to engage with diverse, multicultural candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast -paced, deadline -driven environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to recruitment fairs, training centers, or port locations as required.
