Job Description - Talent Acquisition - Senior

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients


Min Experience: 4 years

Location: Chennai

JobType: full-time

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage end-to-end recruitment while building strong talent pipelines in a fast-paced environment. This role requires deep expertise in sourcing, stakeholder management, recruitment analytics, and hiring process optimization to consistently deliver high-quality talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete recruitment lifecycle including requirement gathering, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, salary negotiations, and onboarding.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to align on role expectations, quality benchmarks, hiring timelines, and cost considerations.
  • Leverage advanced sourcing techniques such as Boolean searches, social platforms, job boards, referrals, and professional networks.
  • Proactively source and engage both active and passive candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and similar platforms.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple roles and functions.
  • Evaluate candidate profiles thoroughly against role requirements and manage all hiring stages through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Track and analyze sourcing and recruitment metrics including pipeline health, diversity, time-to-hire, and recruiter efficiency.
  • Prepare regular recruitment dashboards and reports to support data-driven hiring decisions.
  • Maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction through transparent communication and efficient recruitment operations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance throughout the recruitment process.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in end-to-end recruitment with a strong focus on sourcing and full-cycle hiring.
  • Proven success in identifying, attracting, and closing talent across technical and non-technical roles.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced sourcing strategies and tools (Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.).
  • Prior experience in a fast-growing or technology-driven organization is preferred.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on usage of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Working knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms such as Zoho, ServiceNow, or similar systems.
  • Preferred experience working with HCM modules for candidate data management, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting/BI tools such as Power BI for recruitment analytics.
