Job Description - Talent Acquisition Specialist

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end-to-end hiring for technical and analytics roles across our India teams. The ideal candidate should bring strong sourcing capabilities, a deep understanding of the tech and analytics talent landscape, and the ability to partner closely with hiring managers to build high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and analytics positions (e.g., Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Product/Tech roles).
Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, create job descriptions, and align on hiring strategies.
Drive proactive sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, events, and talent communities.
Screen and assess candidates for both technical skills and cultural fit.
Coordinate interview processes, schedule discussions, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system with accurate candidate information.
Lead campus hiring initiatives end-to-end, including planning engagement activities, coordinating pre-placement talks, managing assessments/interviews, and building relationships with key institutes.
Partner with stakeholders to provide regular hiring updates, insights, and market intelligence.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Support employer branding initiatives and help strengthen the company’s presence in the tech and analytics talent market.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and hiring best practices throughout the recruitment process.

Required Skills & Experience

5–6 years of hands-on recruiting experience in India, with strong exposure to technical and analytics hiring.
Proven ability to source niche and senior technical talent in a competitive market.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver within tight timelines.
Strong analytical mindset and experience using data/metrics to drive hiring decisions.
High level of ownership, accountability, and professionalism.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters degree in HR or equivalent experience
Prior experience in a tech, analytics, consulting, or startup environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion
