Job Description - Talent and Development Administrative Specialist

Job Description

The Talent and Development Administrative Specialist is a detail-oriented and organized member of the Human Resources team who is responsible for overall administrative support of talent programs. Responsibilities include managing training schedules, enrolling and confirming participants, providing administrative support to class participants, overseeing attendance and compliance with class requirements, and setting up curriculum and programs in the HRIS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Schedule Management:
    • Develop and maintain training schedules.
    • Coordinate with trainers and participants to ensure timely communication of training dates and times.
  • Enrollment and Confirmation:
    • Handle the enrollment process for training programs.
    • Confirm participant registration and provide necessary information and materials.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to class participants, including answering queries and resolving issues.
    • Prepare and distribute training materials and resources, including the uploading of content to the Learning Management System
    • Reporting on program attendance, completion and satisfaction
  • Attendance and Compliance Oversight:
    • Monitor and record attendance for all training sessions.
    • Ensure participants comply with class requirements and prerequisites.
  • Curriculum Setup:
    • Function as Learning Catalog Administrator for set up and maintenance of training programs curriculum, and collateral in Workday.
    • Manage training collateral for centralized access via Sharepoint or other storage site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or related field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or training coordination role.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), preferably Workday.
  • Knowledge of training and development best practices.
