Job Description - Tandom Analyst

Role and Responsibility

Analyze the Tandem COBOL sources and generate functional insights for the Engg team, provide clarifications on the implemented behavior.
Detailed estimation of work requests based on WBS
Understand customer requirements, design, develop, and unit test solutions
Preparation of technical design documents
Walkthrough of design with Domain SME
Review code deliverables
Support SIT, UAT cycles
Application deployment verification

Qualification

A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience

Competencies

Fluent in English.
Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
Knowledge of TAL, COBOL, ENSCRIBE, SQL, Tandem utilities such Base24, SQL/MP
