Job Description - Tax Associate/Analyst

Position: Tax Associate/Analyst

Location: Chennai - Onsite/Hybrid/Remote

Shift Timing: 8.00PM - 5.00AM IST (US Pacific Time)

Engagement Type: Full Time

Experience Level - 3 -5yrs

Job Description:

Prepare and review US federal, state, and local tax returns.
Assist in the preparation of corporate income tax, sales & use tax, franchise tax, and property tax filings.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns in accordance with statutory deadlines.
Maintain compliance with applicable US tax laws and regulations.
Prepare tax provisions and supporting schedules.
Reconcile tax -related general ledger accounts.
Support month -end and year -end closing activities.
Analyze tax accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare tax work -papers and supporting documentation.
Perform quality reviews of tax deliverables.
Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.
Knowledge of Corporate Tax, Sales & Use Tax, and Withholding Tax.
