We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Litigation Associate to manage complex direct tax litigation, advisory, and compliance matters. The role involves working on high-value disputes, preparing legal documentation, advising clients on tax strategies, and assisting with representation before tax authorities and appellate forums.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review replies, appeals, and submissions for tax authorities and tribunals.
• Conduct legal research on case laws, amendments, and judicial precedents to build strong arguments.
• Represent and assist in matters before AO, CIT(A), ITAT, and higher courts.
• Provide timely advisory and consultancy support on direct tax issues.
• Coordinate with clients for appeal filings, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Support senior professionals in strategizing litigation and advisory solutions.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Advocate (Law Graduate).
• 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in direct tax litigation and advisory.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.
