About the Role

SC&H is building a high-performing team of US Tax Professionals at our Gurugram office. This is an excellent opportunity to establish a long-term career with a US-headquartered accounting and consulting firm specializing in pass-through entities (Forms 1065, 1120S) and related individual returns (Form 1040), along with select corporate filings (Form 1120). In this hybrid role, you will gain direct client exposure, develop specialized expertise in US Federal Tax Compliance and ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes), and thrive as part of a collaborative, growth-oriented team. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review US Federal Income Tax Returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120) and other relevant compliance filings.


• Conduct technical research on complex tax issues and present clear, practical recommendations.


• Collaborate closely with onshore teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.


• Review tax workpapers, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with professional and firm standards.
  
  What We’re Looking For


• 2 – 8 years of hands-on experience in US Tax Compliance.


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).


• CA / CPA certification preferred.


• Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word; familiarity with CCH Axcess, ProSystems fx Engagement, and/or provision tools is a plus.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
