Team Lead – Business Development (Field Sales)

Location: Mumbai / Delhi

Department: Sales

Employment Type: Full -time

About the Role

We are hiring a Team Lead – Field Sales to manage, mentor, and scale a high -performing field sales team. This role combines individual contribution + team management, ensuring revenue targets and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Field Sales Executives/BDMs
  • Drive team targets along with individual contribution to revenue
  • Monitor daily activities including lead generation (7–10 per rep/day) and conversions
  • Implement and track sales KPIs, productivity metrics, and performance dashboards
  • Conduct field visits with team members for coaching and deal closures
  • Ensure high -quality customer engagement and relationship management
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic inputs to leadership
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new sales team members

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)
  • 4–8 years of field sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in team handling
  • Proven track record of achieving team & individual sales targets
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working in a startup / fast -paced environment
  • Language proficiency: English & Hindi (Marathi preferred for Mumbai)

Ideal Candidate

  • Hands -on leader who can drive results on the field
  • Experience in B2B sales / NBFC / fintech / subscription -based models preferred
  • Strong problem -solving and decision -making ability
