US Individual Tax (1040 Reviewer)

This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented tax professional with strong client communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels. Experience handling tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, combined with a proactive, consultative approach to problem-solving, will provide a strong advantage in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with staff accountants and the Tax Manager to ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and filing of tax returns


• Prepare and review U.S. individual tax returns (Form 1040).


• Perform first-level review of individual tax returns to ensure compliance, accuracy, and completeness


• Support the team by addressing client queries, providing technical guidance, and resolving tax-related issues


• Assist in tax planning, estimates, and projections for individual clients


• Respond to notices and inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities

NOTE: Should be ready for the 2 years clause.

Required Skills

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Accounting or a related field (required)


• 4-6years of Hands-on experience with U.S. Individual Taxation (Form 1040) and review exposure


• Strong analytical, communication skills and problem-solving skills


• Proficiency in tax and accounting systems such as CCH, SAP, RIA Checkpoint, and BNA (preferred).
