Team Lead Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Canadian Payroll & Accounting to lead payroll operations, manage a team, and ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing for Canadian clients.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the payroll team.
Oversee end-to-end Canadian payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll regulations (CPP, EI, Income Tax, EHT, WCB).
Review payroll reports, reconciliations, and statutory remittances.
Support client onboarding and payroll implementations.
Collaborate with accounting and treasury teams.
Drive process improvements and resolve client escalations.

• Monitor changes to Canadian payroll legislation and communicate relevant changes to the payroll team and stakeholders.


• Ensure payroll systems and processes are updated when statutory rates, thresholds, or regulatory requirements change.


• Maintain payroll compliance calendars and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.


• Identify potential compliance risks and implement appropriate controls.


• Support payroll audits and provide required documentation and reports

Requirements Experience in Canadian payroll and statutory compliance.
Prior team handling/leadership experience.
Knowledge of payroll and accounting systems.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
