Role Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead – Vendor Management to oversee vendor partnerships, commercial negotiations, and procurement operations. The role requires a commercially driven professional who can build a strong vendor ecosystem, negotiate favorable commercial terms, manage stakeholder relationships, and lead a team to ensure seamless execution of business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management

Build, onboard, and manage relationships with vendors and external partners.

Develop and maintain a strong vendor network across relevant categories.

Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, and service delivery.

Ensure timely resolution of vendor-related issues and escalations.

Commercial Negotiations & Procurement

Lead commercial negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and favorable contractual terms.

Identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining quality and service standards.

Support vendor selection, onboarding, contract renewals, and procurement activities.

Stakeholder Management

Partner with internal business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective procurement support.

Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and regular updates.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables.

Operations & Compliance

Ensure timely delivery of products and services through effective vendor coordination.

Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, invoices, and compliance records.

Ensure adherence to company policies, procurement processes, and quality standards.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and support the Vendor Management team.

Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and customer-focused work environment.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in Vendor Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Vendor Operations.

Prior experience leading or mentoring a team.

Strong expertise in vendor management, commercial negotiations, and procurement operations.

Experience managing both B2B and B2C vendor ecosystems.

Proven ability to build and maintain a strong vendor network.

Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Experience in handling multi-domain market research projects (B2B and B2C) will be preferred.

Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement documentation.

This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
