Job Description - Team Lead - Wealth Management (HNI)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team
    Leadership & Management:

    • Lead,
      motivate, and mentor a team of Relationship Managers to achieve
      individual and team targets.
    • Set
      performance goals, monitor progress, and provide feedback and coaching to
      team members to improve sales, service, and client relationship
      management.
    • Foster
      a collaborative and high -performance culture within the team.
    • Conduct
      regular team meetings to discuss performance, strategy, and client
      management best practices.
  2. Client
    Relationship & Portfolio Management:

    • Oversee
      the team’s management of HNI client portfolios, ensuring clients receive
      personalized, high -quality financial advice and services.
    • Ensure
      the team delivers customized investment strategies, estate planning, tax,
      and retirement planning solutions to clients.
    • Personally
      handle high -profile and complex client relationships, resolving issues,
      and providing strategic advice.
    • Continuously
      assess and optimize client portfolios to align with evolving financial
      goals and market conditions.
  3. Business
    Development & Revenue Growth:

    • Drive
      business development activities within the HNI segment, identifying new
      opportunities, expanding the client base, and increasing revenue.
    • Encourage
      team members to generate leads, pursue new business opportunities, and
      maintain long -term client relationships.
    • Develop
      and implement strategies to increase market penetration and client
      acquisition.
    • Track
      and report on business development performance and client acquisition
      metrics.
  4. Training
    & Development:

    • Provide
      ongoing training to Relationship Managers on wealth management products,
      financial planning strategies, and best practices.
    • Help
      team members stay up -to -date on industry trends, market conditions, and
      regulatory changes.
    • Lead
      by example in promoting a client -first mindset and exemplary service
      standards.
  5. Operational
    Excellence:

    • Ensure
      the team adheres to internal processes, compliance guidelines, and
      industry regulations.
    • Oversee
      client onboarding, portfolio reviews, and other operational processes to
      maintain efficiency and quality.
    • Continuously
      improve workflows and internal procedures to enhance client satisfaction
      and operational efficiency.
  6. Collaboration
    & Cross -functional Leadership:

    • Collaborate
      with other internal teams such as Investment Research, Product
      Specialists, Risk Management, and Compliance to deliver comprehensive
      wealth management solutions to clients.
    • Ensure
      smooth communication between departments to enhance client service and
      resolve issues promptly.
    • Work
      closely with senior leadership to align team goals with organizational
      objectives.
  7. Market
    & Competitor Analysis:

    • Stay
      abreast of market trends, investment opportunities, and competitive
      offerings.
    • Provide
      the team with regular updates on market dynamics, investment
      opportunities, and regulatory changes.
    • Analyze
      competitors’ offerings to ensure the firm’s wealth management services
      remain competitive.
  8. Reporting
    & Analytics:

    • Monitor
      and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, including
      client retention, revenue growth, and portfolio performance.
    • Prepare
      and present regular reports on the team’s performance, key achievements,
      and challenges to senior management.
    • Use
      data to drive decision -making and continuous improvement in team
      strategies.


Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s
      degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's
      degree or relevant certifications like CFA, CFP, or CWM is preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum
      12+ years of experience in wealth management or private banking, with at
      least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
    • Proven
      experience in managing and growing relationships with high -net -worth
      individuals (HNI).
    • Strong
      track record in business development, sales, and achieving revenue
      targets.
  • Key
    Skills:

    • Strong
      leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent
      coaching, mentoring, and team -building abilities.
    • Deep
      knowledge of wealth management products, investment strategies, tax and
      estate planning.
    • Strong
      analytical and financial modeling skills.
    • High
      level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
    • Ability
      to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
