MAIN TASKS

• 
  

  Leads and motivates a research team and is responsible for overall team performance.

  
  


• 
  

  Support R&D projects with respect to route scouting, optimization, scale-up, technical packages & technology transfer

  
  


• 
  

  Following-up on project progress and ensuring that projects are delivered on-time and in quality.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring right process safety techniques are employed before scale-up decisions.

  
  


• 
  

  Fostering innovation and coming-up with new ideas; keeping up to date with synthetic and process technology developments.

  
  


• 
  

  Liaising with stake holders like research, production, analytics, HR, finance, procurement, maintenance & management

  
  

• 
  

  Implementing & ensuring compliance with respect to labor, safety and environmental protection regulations in his/her area of ​​responsibility.  

  
  

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• 
  

  PhD with post-doctorate experience in organic chemistry

  
  


• 
  

  Shall possess sound theoretical and practical knowledge in organic synthesis and process research.

  
  


• 
  

  Working experience as a process lab team leader for minimum 3 years in a chemical / pharmaceutical / agrochemical industry is preferred.

  Should be fluent in a communication
