Due to continuous growth, CommScope is looking to hire a Team Leader  to be based at our site in Goa, India. This role will be responsible for releasing work orders and coordination with the production team and vendors for timely production/supply of material and ensuring smooth production without any shortage of material.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

Under guidance from Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, supervising and executing the activities of one or more warehouse areas. Assists in the development of departmental personnel to enhance skills, improve responsiveness.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Ensures that departmental goals are achieved by communicating established objectives.


2. Communicates overall organizational directives. Maximizes employee participation to achieve the desired team approach.


3. Ensures that employees are at work on time, actively engaged in their assigned departments and conforming to established safety regulations.


4. Ensures that all company policies are followed. 


5. Provides immediate performance feedback, assisting in short-term resolution of emergency situations (e.g., injuries), safety issues, attendance issues, conduct, etc. 


6. Provides input to Warehouse Supervisor for reporting reasons on Warehouse operations, employee performance/conduct and process flow.   


7. Ensure that time and attendance for assigned employees is accurate in data collection system. 


8. Will need to be able to handle multiple responsibilities at one time and must be able to deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach.


9. Works with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that departmental goals are achieved. 


10. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.


11. To support PIP saving project.


12. Completion of shift reports and handovering of shift operation to next reliever.


13. To take on responsibility for the control of failed quality components and manage Kanban, FIFO/shelf life materials.


14. Directing & controlling shift wise output of the team.


15. Ensures 5S in the area of control.


16. Coordinate with Production team, Material planning team, quality team, other warehouse teams, etc to achieve daily production goals.


17. Ensures space optimization, stock accuracy, bin accuracy in warehouse.


18. Supervise material movement activity, Upkeeping of MHE, weighing m/c,


19.  Ensures that High level of SAP transactions & Material handling discipline is maintained in warehouse

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

Bachelor’s in related curriculum such as B.Com with Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Diploma with 5 Years of relevant Experience.

Knowledge – High level of skill and knowledge in warehouse operations with demonstrated ability to function in a leadership role.

Skills - Proficiency in SAP will be added advantage as it relates to time and attendance, material transactions, etc. Very good interpersonal, communication & people management skills.
