Team Leader- Service operations- ERC

Your role

Safety and environment 

Motivating & maintaining awareness of ERC team to follow the safety guideline. 

Ensuring availability & usage of safety PPEs at ERC 

Maintaining the tools tackles & instruments for ERC & ensure their proper & timely inspection, testing & calibration. 

Ensure proper housekeeping of the ERC premises. 

Maintain proper effluent management at ERC. 

Understand & maintain all ERC workshop & environment compliances. 

To support the Group’s safety culture, “Zero-accident” culture. 

ERC Operations and efficiency: 

Evaluation of competence of ERC technicians 

Maintaining the proper database of all reconditioned & new elements 

Job planning & allocation to the ERC technician and monitoring timely readiness of element. 

Reduction of time to build element & reduction of lead time to maintain the Work in Progress under control. 

Keep ERC variance under control. 

Ensure proper quality and efficiency at ERC to improve customer satisfaction & reduction of warranty cost. 

Checking of all elements before dispatching. 

Testing and keeping record of test parameters of all spare drivetrain in test compressor, before dispatch. 

Provide extreme priority to warranty failed element and drivetrain. 

ERC planning process: 

Preparation of detailed inspection report of failed element & element that come for reconditioning.  

Ontime sharing that report with concern zone. 

Proper estimation of child part requirement & maintaining lean inventory at ERC 

Providing proactive parts requirement to ACDC considering the lead time to ensure the proper flow of element. 

Preparation, updating and maintaining detail catalogue of all elements 

Maintaining record of all inbound & outbound material. Timely updates & monitoring of ERC Database   

Failure analysis 

Detailed inspection & preparation of analysis report for warranty failed element & drivetrain 

Assisting Product support team to assess the reason of failure of screw element 

Coordinate with Product support team to understand reason of failure of recon element & improvement plan to be prepared accordingly. 

Origin Air 

Detailed inspection & preparation of analysis report of incoming equipment 

Estimation of refurbishment & arrangement of all parts 

Refurbishment of element & prepare for invoicing 

Management of Origin Air inventory 

Maintaining inflow and outflow 

Maintain proper quality of refurbished equipment quality. 

Testing and quality assurance before invoicing the equipment after refurbishment 

Maintaining the Testbed & ERC Equipment’s   

Regular inspection and general checks of testbed Machines  

Timely preventive maintenance of Machines & Other Equipment’s  

Testing of Refurbished drivetrain / elements on testbed 

Regular audit of testbed equipment 

Always readiness of testbed for quality assurance before invoicing of drive train / element after refurbishment 

Perform any other tasks given by supervisor from time to time. 

To succeed, you will need

Knowledge/ Educational requirements 

Good knowledge of Compressor & Aftermarket business. Excellent team management, communication & administrative skills, IT skills, can do attitude & stress resistant 

Experience requirements 

Minimum 5 years of experience in compressor service/ technical support. Service experience in handling oil lubricated compressors / compressor overhauling is an added advantage. Experience in handling Service/ Refurbishment activities at Workshop / Service Center like Engine / Pump / Motor overhaling etc. will also be consider. 

Knowledge and Educational requirements 

Diploma/BE in Engineering.
