We are seeking a dynamic and performance-oriented Team Leader with hands-on experience in Solar Loan Sales and Business Development. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong understanding of the solar financing ecosystem, capable of leading a sales team focused on promoting and closing solar loan deals. The position involves a combination of strategic planning and on-ground execution to drive business growth in the Solar EPC sector. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the solar PV industry, inverters, lithium batteries, or related renewable energy domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales/business development executives to achieve disbursement targets for solar loans.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to expand solar loan penetration in untapped markets.
  • Identify customer financing needs and offer customized solutions to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Provide active support to team members in lead generation, client interactions, and closures.
  • Maintain strong relationships through regular customer visits and post-sales engagement.
  • Conduct market research to monitor trends, assess opportunities, and inform strategic direction.
  • Represent the organization in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to build brand visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with Solar EPC companies, distributors, and channel partners to strengthen the sales pipeline.
  • Monitor team performance, generate reports, and ensure alignment with monthly and quarterly business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, compliance standards, and documentation protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team in Sales or Business Development.
  • Mandatory experience in Solar Loan Sales.
  • Strong understanding of the solar industry, including financing structures and customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage field-based roles with high target orientation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exposure to lithium batteries, solar inverters, or PV systems is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated stability in prior roles with no unexplained career gaps.
  • Must have direct experience in sales—not limited to corporate DSA channels.
