Team Manager - Electrification (f-m-d)

 As a member of an international development organization, you’re building up and leading a Electrical team for execution of projects in a system integration environment for Marine, Offshore and Process Industry. The Technology solutions are part of our integral Electrification, Automation and Digital products, which require Know How and background in the respective domains. Need good understanding of HV/MV/LV systems, associated software for engineering the necessary requirement. proficient in Transformers/Reactors/Switchgears/Motors/Drives/Cables/eHouse/Generation/ transmission systems.

This includes engineering contribution in the SE Industrial Process. We’re working within an agile process environment to ensure efficiency and flexibility. Effective communication with the international team is a crucial aspect of your role, and your goal is to co-ordinate solutions team and guide engineering contribution of high-quality solution that meets the needs of the SE industry.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:

• Manage and lead an integrated Electrical Engineering team.
• Technical design of high-voltage and medium-voltage components in the industrial environment
• Processing of mainly technical customer enquiries in the field of energy & automation and acceptance of the resulting orders
• Supporting project management and sales in calculation and quotation preparation
• Creation and approval of specifications for these energy components
• - Collaboration in energy distribution projects as electrical engineer (protection concepts, network calculations, control HW engineering, workshop support, execution of tests etc...)
• - Checking the component drawings, material parts lists and further technical documentation for these components
• Coach the development team in process methodology.
• Create/support a team spirit with your peers in the global setup.
• Drive efficiency in the development.
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work in a flexible, multi-functional, team-based, development environment that is comprised of both local Siemens Energy Engineers and 3rd party consultants/contractors.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering,  or equivalent knowledge
• A strategic leader with a proven track record in management, demonstrating a keen interest in leadership and people development.
•  15+ years of experience in developing and deploying Electrical Solutions.
• Experienced in Automation/Electrification/Digital solutions.
• Domain Know How in certain industrial applications (Renewable energy/ Pharma/Data center/Pulp and Paper/Water/Metal/Offshore/Maritime).
•  Validated communication and presentation skills (English)
• Experienced in working in international development teams.
