Team Manager- Refinish and Color

Brief Job Description:

• Lead Technical Team to:

        o Develop products, that can maintain Axalta Technology leadership.

        o Develop new products at right specification, right cost, that can be sold at market price meeting profitability objectives.

       o Ensure adequate technical & color support is given to customer line.

        o Accomplish variable margin improvement targets.

• Work with Product Team to:

        o Deliver aggressive and SMART product development targets.

        o Identify and deliver product localization opportunities.

        o Identify opportunities to meet business targets.

• Work with Regional/ Global Technology teams to:

        o Leverage technology developments in other countries/ regions, for business growth in India.

        o Technology consolidation to best utilize plant resources.

• Work with supply chain, demand, operations to:

        o Ensure cross functional teams continue to focus on quality improvements.

        o Own products, so as to collaborate with manufacturing to make products as per market needs.

• Maintain 5S in Laboratory & office area

• Keep updated on latest Paint / Application Technologies

Education Qualification & Experience:

Coating Technical background (Postgraduate or Graduate in Paint Technology, Chemical engineering, Polymer Science)

Minimum 12-15 years’ related work experience in Paint or allied industry.

Good knowledge of Paint Formulations, Raw Materials, Application Techniques is highly preferred.

Strong ownership mindset and team-work spirit.

Excellent Inter-personal communication skills & Presentation skills
