Role: Team Member - ME Assembly

Division: VEPT

Function: VEPT- Manufacturing - ME Assembly

Reporting into:  Team Lead ME Assembly

Level: Jr. Manager

Purpose of the Role

The position exists in order manage the engine assembly process and facility planning and providing for a new product, design changes, safety, quality, productivity improvement, with the objective of achieving capacity expansion and productivity improvement in assembly meeting project timelines within the limits of achieving volume targets and budgeted Capex as per long term business plan.

Education

• Diploma- Mechanical/ Production/Automobile

Experience

• 2-6 years of relevant work experience

Business Understanding

• Should have a basic understanding of the overall business operation


• Importance of his role to the organization 


• Clear about the work methodology & values. 

Area of Responsibility

Assembly Process Owner

Productivity Improvement, Plan and execute improvements in an assembly line.NVA analysis and implementation of improvement projects.In order to achieve the target for Cycle time reduction and  NVA Reduction

New Product and DCN introduction

Evaluate facility modification requirement, plan and implement modification for upcoming new product and design changes in a respective assembly line.In order to achieve planned SOP for product or DCN.

Training and Improvement

Plan and execute training for process changes to supervisors and execute minor changes related to new or existing improvements in quality. In order to facilitate the production team to meet PPM targets.
