Develop and drive Service Improvement Plans (SIP). Monitor KPIs such as availability, MTTR, MTBF, SLA compliance, and incident trends.
Fault Analysis & TroubleshootingPerform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for faults in SDH, DWDM, and OTN networks. Analyze alarms, logs, and trends.
Incident & Problem ManagementDrive problem management for recurring incidents. Document of RCA and corrective/preventive actions. Participate in major incident reviews.
Network OptimizationIdentify fiber issues, capacity bottlenecks, and misconfigurations. Recommend re-routing, capacity upgrades, and tuning.
Coordination & Stakeholder ManagementWork with field teams, engineering teams, and vendors (Tejas, Nokia, ECI). Provide updates to stakeholders.
Automation & ReportingPrepare SLA reports, dashboards, and SIP reports. Use automation wherever applicable.
Required SkillsStrong knowledge of SDH, DWDM, OTN. Understanding optical networks, alarms, and NMS/EMS tools.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, or related fields.
Experience1-2 years in NOC operations or transport network support.
KPIsReduction in repeat incidents, improved MTTR/MTBF, SLA compliance, and SIP closure effectiveness.
CertificationsITIL Foundation, CCNA/CCNP (optional).
