We are looking for a Team Lead with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform and strong experience with multi-cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure). You will define architecture, lead design & implementation of cloud solutions for our enterprise clients, drive best practices, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, cost-efficient and aligned with business outcomes.

What you’ll do…

• Partner closely with clients and internal teams (data engineering, devops, security, product) to understand needs, set technical direction, perform cloud architecture design & reviews
• Lead the design, migration, deployment, and optimization of infrastructure on GCP, and integrate / orchestrate across other cloud providers in multi-cloud setups
• Define and enforce best practices: security, compliance, cost management, monitoring, disaster recovery, performance
• Work on data platforms, AI/ML infrastructure, analytics pipelines, streaming / batch workloads, serverless & containerized services etc.
• Mentor more junior resources / engineers and help build cloud competency and delivery excellence within the organization
• Design end-to-end cloud architectures (primarily GCP, but also AWS / Azure) for large scale data, analytics, AI, and infrastructure solutions
• Lead cloud migrations: lift & shift, refactoring, replatforming where appropriate
• Ensure robust security, identity & access management, network design, encryption, data protection, compliance (e.g. GDPR, SOC2 etc.)
• Plan for scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, cost optimization
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, incident response, SLAs
• Define infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployment and configuration (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, etc.)
• Evaluate new cloud services / technologies, integrate them to improve efficiency, performance, or cost
• Collaborate with business / product teams, data teams, security & operations to deliver cloud solutions that align with business goals
• Lead technical workshops, proof-of-concepts (POCs), provide architectural guidance to clients and internal stakeholders

You’ll do it using…

• Strong experience (10+ years or more depending on level) with designing & implementing solutions on Google Cloud Platform, including core services (Compute, Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Kubernetes / GKE, IAM, etc.)
• Demonstrable experience in multi-cloud architectures: integrating across GCP + AWS / Azure (or similar), to meet requirements for redundancy, vendor avoidance, or cloud-region / latency / compliance reasons
• Deep understanding of cloud-native design patterns: containers, serverless, microservices, event-driven architectures
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Google Deployment Manager, or similar) experience
• Strong network, security & identity knowledge for cloud environments (VPC, hybrid / multi-cloud connectivity, VPN / interconnect, IAM, KMS etc.)
• Experience with data engineering / analytics platforms, AI / ML infrastructure is a plus (e.g. BigQuery, Dataproc / Dataflow, AI Platform / Vertex AI)
• Cost management experience: monitoring & optimizing cloud spend, rightsizing, committed use, resource tagging etc.
• Familiarity with DevOps / CI-CD / Observability tooling: monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, incident response etc.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to explain complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to lead architectural decisions, drive best practices, mentor others
• Experience in consulting, primarily with UK & US clients

Nice to Have...

• Certifications: Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, etc.
• Experience with hybrid / on-prem + cloud environments
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to your market (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
• Prior experience in enterprise consulting or professional services
• Experience in scaling global cloud teams or working with globally distributed system
